You do not have to take a dive to experience the pleasure of the underwater world. It is enough to visit the Neum underwater film festival, a unique festival of underwater films. The Neum underwater film festival put Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina's only access to the sea, on the world map of cultural events of this kind. Films have the power to convey the author's feelings. Underwater films delight with their quality and diversity and the richness of the underwater world through the eyes of artists, whose goal it is to inspire the viewer.
The Neum underwater film festival takes place on August 23 and 24, 2024. 22 films will be shown in the official competition, with the accompanying Fest&Val program. Awards at this international festival are awarded in 5 categories (Best Underwater Film, Best Camera, Best Original Music, Best Eco Film and Best Underwater Film of Bosnia and Herzegovina). A special category is the Audience Award for Best Film.
An ecological educational film workshop, which teaches how to shoot creatively and safely underwater, will be held on August 24, 2024. (Željka Šaravanja)
