The wolf (Canis lupus) is a mammal from the Canidae family. They have a joint origin with the domestic dog (Canis familiaris) and experts say that they are the forefather of all existing dogs today. In B&H they prevail on highland areas of the Dinaric Alps. They feed on herbivores and specifically on species that are most common in the area where they habitat.
