The fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the most outspread wild representative of the dog family in Europe. The fox is the largest member of the Vulpes clan and the most geographically outspread member of the Carnivora group. It is an animal of dusk and nighttime, feeds on rodents and other smaller animals, plants as well as on carrion. (Željka Šaravanja) The Croatian Post Ltd.
