The Bear (Ursus arctos) is the largest wild animal and predator on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A loner, spends the winters in caves, forest hollows or lairs. The bear is an omnivore, that feeds on other animals (bugs, smaller mammals and similar), strawberries and plants, and most often hunts even larger wildlife like deer.(Željka Šaravanja) The Croatian Post Ltd.
